Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club starts at 8.00 am every day before school in the Family Learning Centre. Children get to choose a good healthy breakfast, brush their teeth and then have fun activity time before going straight into their class, calm and ready to begin their day, when school starts.  Children sit down together to eat and choose from cereals, toast, fruit juice, milk, baked beans, yoghurts, fruit, pancakes, crumpets. They have a named toothbrush and cup; and join in a different activity each day- games and puzzles, Lego, crafts, etc. Children can join Breakfast Club as soon as they are settled into school full time. There is proof that children who have eaten breakfast are more able to concentrate and learn, are better behaved and will do better at school, coming to Breakfast Club definitely improves children's confidence, independence and social skills because they are part of a mixed age group who help and join in with each other. With effect from 25th April 2016 there will be no charge for Breakfast Club as the school successfully obtained funding from Greggs the Bakers and partner company Keytree.

If you would like a place, or some more information, please give the FLO a call or ask at the School Office.
